Aldrin Tirones, our Senior Creative Designer, brings a blend of artistic passion and problem-solving precision to every project. From creating his own designer toys to finding ‘photorealistic’ fragrances, Aldrin embodies the kind of creative curiosity that transforms B2B content marketing briefs into memorable visual stories.
His philosophy is straightforward: great design starts with understanding the purpose, then finding the most compelling way to bring it to life visually.

Tell us about yourself – what should people know about you?
I love collecting designer toys and have filled my room with them. They’re my daily dose of inspiration. Someday, I hope to launch my own line, and I’ve been slowly building a collection in my free time.
Storytelling is at the heart of my design and illustration work. I’m fascinated by how the human brain can process so much visual information in a split second, and how just one glance can make a design feel perfect — or completely off.

Outside of design, I’m a big plant lover; being around greenery feels instantly calming. I’m also a bit of a perfume enthusiast, especially when it comes to green and floral scents. Right now, I’m on a personal quest to find the most ‘photorealistic’ stargazer lily fragrance, inspired by a beloved memory tied to that beautiful scent.

Projects can sometimes become confusing when the client’s brief or direction isn’t clear in terms of design. In those situations, I focus on getting to the core purpose of the project rather than sticking too literally to the brief. There are times when I need to trust my expertise and propose a slightly different approach, but always with the ultimate goal of helping the client achieve what they really need.
What does a typical day look like for you as a Senior Creative Designer?
First thing in the morning, I drink water and have breakfast — can’t function without it, haha! Then I make my coffee while watching random shows online to wake my brain up. I also take a moment to look around my room filled with designer toys to set the creative mood. Music can be tricky for me since it affects my mood too much, so I usually stick to lo-fi to keep things chill.
”Being a designer means no two days are the same. Visual language can be brutal — people can decide in a split second if something looks right or completely off, and even the tiniest detail can make or break a design. With all those abstract challenges, I always come back to one question: What’s the purpose of this design, and how can I communicate it most effectively? Design is problem solving afterall. That keeps me grounded no matter how wild the day gets.
What’s been your most memorable project at With Content so far?
I’ve worked on a lot of illustrations and design projects, but one stands out because of the situation I was in at the time.
I had just started freelancing for With Content, right after the global pandemic, and my 10-year-old laptop had completely died on me. I was in a rut financially and creatively, but I really needed the work. So when an animated GIF project came in, I took it on even without proper equipment.
For context, Procreate is quite casual — although powerful — compared to professional design tools like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator that most designers rely on for client work. But I made the whole thing on my iPad using Procreate and some free video editing tools.
Surprisingly, the client loved it and approved it with minimal revisions.
That project not only helped me get back on my feet, but it also opened the door for me to join With Content full-time and eventually get a new laptop. Looking back, I’m glad I didn’t let my situation stop me from taking that leap.
How do you spend your time outside of work?
After work, I usually dive into personal art, whether it’s illustrating, sculpting, or some random creative experiment. I always make time for it because I find it fuels my creativity for work. Turning art into a career can sometimes change your relationship with it, so these personal projects help me stay connected to why I fell in love with creating in the first place.

This piece was an experiment that combined my love for sculpting with my passion for perfume. I used a small perfume bottle as the base and sculpted a forest elf warrior around it. It is inspired by the perfume “Philosykos” by Diptyque. It’s my favorite scent, it is the greenest, most beautiful fragrance I’ve ever smelled and it instantly makes me think of lush greenery and forest air. I wanted to create something special for such a special scent, translating what I smell into something I can see and hold.

I recently joined a pottery workshop that opened near my area and tried making a mug by hand without using a pottery wheel. It was such a fun experience. This was my very first piece, so the proportions are a bit off, but that is part of the charm. I do wish I had more time to plan and refine it, but overall it was a really memorable experiment.
Finally, some quick-fire questions to get to know you better:
If you could swap jobs with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
If I could swap jobs for a day, I’d be a National Geographic wildlife photographer. I’ve always loved animal documentaries and wondered how they manage to capture those raw, natural moments in the wild. It’s like getting a front-row seat to nature’s best show.
What’s your guilty pleasure when it comes to TV or movies?
I love watching horror movies for the thrill! I used to be a total scaredy-cat, but growing up made me realise there are far scarier things in real life.
If you could time travel, would you go to the past or future? What would you do there?
If I could time travel, I’d head to the pre-colonial Philippines. So much of our culture was lost to colonisation, and only fragments remain today. I would love to see firsthand how Filipinos really lived and see our traditions, art, and daily life before history rewrote the story.
